Procurement Executive

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with technical vendors specializing in robotics components, and evaluate supplier performance based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS) metrics.
  • Negotiate price, payment terms, and lead-time to optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining product quality.
  • Review PR issued by the PPC department to generate Purchase Orders (POs), issue POs, track delivery schedules, and aggressively resolve lead-time delays to ensure robotics assembly projects meet production deadlines.
  • Review and arrange Import shipment, and resolve discrepancies regarding delivery quantities, defective components, and invoice matching with suppliers and internal finance/warehouse teams.
  • Work closely with the R&D department during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase to evaluate component availability, long-lead items, and cost targets, and coordinate Engineering Change Notices (ECN) with vendors.
  • Assist the warehouse team in managing safety stock levels for high-turnover automation standard parts, and ensure all purchased materials receive on time.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of procurement or purchasing experience in automation, robotics, industrial electronics, system integration, or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Software Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and procedures, and Incoterms & SST tax regulation/exemption.

  • Apply first principles thinking and scientific methodologies to product design in order to identify risks and failure modes.
  • Works in the new development of new products and fully owns the ownership of mechanical aspects for new and existing products.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams including the PCB development team, System development team, and Production and Quality Assurance team.
  • Develop and design mechanical systems in accordance with mechanical system architecture, Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), Statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerancing.

  • Collaborate with the production team to obtain precheck lists and verify the completion of necessary manufacturing steps for autonomous mobile robots.
  • Conduct detailed quality control inspections on autonomous mobile robots, including visual inspections, functional tests, and burnout tests to ensure compliance with established specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 & Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, remote ticketing systems, and on-site visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical faults in robotics hardware, including motors, motor drivers, sensors (LiDAR, ultrasonic, optical), safety relays, battery systems, and wiring harnesses, and troubleshoot software-to-hardware interface issues, robot fleet management systems, Wi-Fi connectivity, and basic PLC/I-O integrations.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and emergency breakdown repairs on AMRs, AGVs, and charging stations at customer sites, and execute firmware/software updates, sensor calibrations, and map updates for deployed robot fleets.
  • Conduct hands-on training for client operations and maintenance teams on robot operation, basic troubleshooting, and safety protocols, and assist in site acceptance testing (SAT) and commissioning during initial project handovers.
  • Prepare clear technical field service reports for customers and internal engineering teams, and feed recurring product issues back to R&D and Quality Assurance teams to drive continuous product improvement.

Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for DF Automation & Robotics products, and perform installation, wiring, setup, testing, and commissioning of equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues, and escalate complex technical problems to the Engineering or R&D team when required.
  • Assist in integrating automation systems into customers’ existing setups based on technical drawings and specifications, and conduct preventive maintenance, inspection, calibration, and servicing activities.

  • Manage, consolidate and validate the project requirements by engaging internal and external stakeholders to meet the project scope and timeline within an allocated budget.
